How To Use Magnetic Generator To Reduce Home Electricity Consumption

If you are planning to reduce your home electricity consumption, there are a couple of ways you can do it. The popular approaches are installing solar panels and wind turbine. There is a third option though, it is by using a magnetic generator at home.

If you were to search for information on the internet in regards to magnet driven generator, you will see tons of information.

How does it work actually? How do you use magnets to create free energy at home?

A magnetic generator works on the concept of “pulling and pushing” forces of magnets. If you want to use it to generate electricity to supplement your power needs, the first step is to make a device to harness the power of magnetism.

The concept of the magnetic device is simple, but it does require some precision engineering. You need to get a piece of circular plate, either wood or light weight plastic. The plate should have a diameter of at least 1.5 feet long.

Support the plate at its center with a core attached to bearings. Next, place magnets with positive pole along the circumference of the plate at similar intervals.

The following step is to place more positive magnet bars outside and around the plate. The placement will allow the magnets to come into close contact but do not touch.

Magnets with the similar poles have a tendency to repel each other. We are using this principle in order to rotate the plate on its horizontal axis. When the plate is well balanced, it will gain momentum due to the repelling forces of the magnets.

Now, we have to attach a belt from the central core of the plate to an electric generator. The centrifugal forces will rotate the core of the dynamo hence creating electric current.

The generator is to be connected to a charge controller where it will use the current to charge a series of 12 volts deep cycle battery. It will take some time and when the batteries are fully charged, you can now use it to power your home electrical appliances.

But before that, you need to run it through a power inverter to change the Direct Current (DC) from the battery to Alternate Current (AC). All modern electronic gadgets are designed to run on AC.

DIY Magnetic Generator Guide

To make a working magnetic generator at home, what you’ll need is a good step by step instructional guide. To get your hands on the blueprint, check out the Magniwork guide. The manual will show you how to make a magnet driven generator at minimal cost. For more information, click on the link below.

Building the Magniwork Generator with Plans From Magniwork E-book

If you were to surf the internet on renewable energy, most probably you will see advertisement promoting the Magniwork e-book. Even if you were to visit energy related websites, you will see Magniwork banners posted on the side bars. It is the current buzz right now.

What the Heck is in the Magniwork Manual?

Some people would mistake the Magniwork e-book as a guide to make a perpetual motion generator, unfortunately it is not. The Magniwork generator uses the principle of moving magnetic flow named “the magnetic current” for generating electrical power.

The electric current can be used to charge a series of batteries which then can be used to power household electrical appliances.

Here’s some facts about the magnetic generator shown in the Magniwork guide.

1) It is capable of producing 3.5 volts of electricity.

2) The electric current generate is equivalent of 7 ampere of Direct Current (DC).

3) The power produced is equal to approximately 24 watts.

What does this means? The power coming out from the Magniwork generator is equivalent or more than the power going into the system. In theory, any access energy from the magnetic generator is considered free energy.

Cranking Up the Magnetic Generator

According to the Magniwork e-book, here’s how you get the magnetic generator to work.

1) Use an aluminum plate and cut out 6 slots with ¾” – 1” wide. These slots have to be spaced exactly 60 degrees apart. Next, a hole is then drilled at the centre of the aluminum plate. The center rotating shaft will be placed through the hole.

2) To make the magnet sets, 2 pieces of ¾” long, 5/8” wide and 3/8” thick magnets are stuck together. Now you have to make 6 sets of magnets.

3) 6 coils of copper wire being supported by copper tube and coated with steel wires are wrapped around the magnet sets.

4) To charge up the magnetic generator, the centre shaft has to be driven at 2100 RPM for 42 seconds.

5) When the shaft has reached it required speed, it is left to spin on its own momentum. The copper wires in the copper tube are then energized with 7 ampere of electricity. The end result is a magnetic field about the wire.

6) Because of the close proximity of the magnet sets to the magnetized copper wires, the “attracting” and “repelling” forces of the magnetic field will maintain the shaft spinning momentum.

7) The shaft is then connected to a belt that drives a DC generator. The power generated from the DC generator is used to charge up a deep cycle battery.

In general, the points above show how the Magniwork generator works. It is hard to explain the whole concept without the building plans and blueprints.

Can the DIY magnetic generator be used to power an electrical appliance? In theory, it is possible if you are able to scale up the project and charge the battery for a sufficient time frame. Unfortunately, I have yet seen anyone that uses a magnetic generator to produce usable electricity for their home.

Easier To Reduce Your Home Energy Cost

Making your own magnetic generator does involve a lot of work. There is an easier way to reduce your home energy cost though. Why not use solar power. Many home owners have been using solar panel to supplement their energy requirement.

Do you know you can make your own DIY solar panel for as little as $200?

It’s true! You can quite easily building a solar panel that is capable to generating 18 volts and approximately 75 watts of power. All you need is the right instruction.

If you want to know how to build an inexpensive solar panel, check out the Power 4 Home manual at www.power4home.com. They have a series of High Definition (HD) videos showing you step-by-step how to assemble the solar module. For more information, click on the link below.

Magniwork Generator – Is The Magnetic Generator From Magniwork A Scam?

For the last couple of days, I have been reading the Magniwork generator e-book that I bought. I found the information quite interesting. Anyway, I’m a science geek and I like this type of information.

I was wondering, can we really use magnetic forces to generate electricity to power our home electrical appliances? According to the Magniwork guide, we can.

What’s Possible With Magnetic Generator

To be honest, I think a Do It Yourself (DIY) magnetic rotor is capable, of generating electric power sufficient to light up a 50 watt light bulb. I don’t think it is capable to do anything more than that.

If you want to get more out of the magnet generator, you would have to build multiple dynamos and flow all the electricity into a battery bank.

You would have to run the generator for couple of days to charge up the battery. The stored electricity can then be used to power low wattage electrical appliances such as a radio, fan, table lamp etc. The key here is to scale up the project. Very much like a home solar power system.

Magniwork Generator Scam!

Is the Magniwork generator idea a scam? “Scam” is actually too strong of a word. More of “false expectation”.

A homemade magnetic generator will not solve your power consumption issue at home. It is unlikely the system can reduce it by 50% or more. It may generate sufficient power to light a table lamp and that’s about it.

Like I said earlier, if you are a science geek and you like to build stuff in your garage, then Magniwork generator would be a lot of fun. It’s really cool seeing how magnets interact with each other to produce kinetic energy. The “whooshing” sound of the spinning flywheel will make you feel as if you’ve created an alien machine!

Practical Idea To Reduce Home Energy Consumption

If you are looking for practical ideas to reduce your home electricity consumption, why not look into solar power. Residential solar is a billion dollar industry.

There are thousands of solar power contractors in the country and it is a booming industry. That shows a lot of home owners are investing in the system.

Start off by getting some basic understanding on what’s involved in a home solar power system. Be prudent and get informed. At least you will know when the solar contractor is charging you for unnecessary parts or work done on your home.
