It would be just 30 feet wind machine with rotors between eight to 25 feet in diameter, sufficient enough to supply the adequate power to an electric home or business throughout the year.

Solar panels are the second most commonly used for renewable energy. Half of the electric requirement can be met with 24 100 W solar panels installed on the roof. This will have a dramatic affect on the carbon emission.

The installation cost can further be reduced due to state and federal rebates available in many areas. Homeowners who have surplus power can sell the same to the power companies. Many such homes are enrolled in such programs throughout the Unites States.

This is clear adapting such alternate energy programs can benefit both the Government and the home owner. This is a wise investment which is sure to get you more dollars in return. Just a couple of decades back, it was something which was thought impossible but now you can virtually stop paying your energy bills and on the contrary earn handsome income by adopting to green building projects.

This will not only arrest the carbon footprint but will go beyond energy conservation which in itself is a paradigm shift in power distribution. This is really a marvelous technology development which people should start exploring.

We have one we have designed to make use of the venturi effect of a slanted rooftop. We call it a "ridgerunner" and is built almost entirely of PVC sewer pipe and old bicycle parts.

Sticks above the roof only about a foot. I am doing a video sometime soon, and will send you a copy. It will be open sourced. Good job.
