Many solar lighting users mistake that any type of battery is compatible to their devices. This is only a misconception. A wrong battery may seem to work in the beginning, but with in a short time it will damage the solar fixture. This is true with all cases of similar devises, from a low cost flash light to costly laptop computer.

Many experts in battery technology recommend continued use of the particular type of battery and even suggest using a specific brand in a particular electronic device. Solar lighting fixtures have special sensitivity to the battery it uses, because solar light requires integrity of three basic components like solar panel, light (LED, HALOGEN or CFL) and the charging feature of the battery itself.

They look like a great idea. Often you find that shed builders want to have light in their shed but to get an electrician to do the work is way too expensive. These are a great cost-effective solution and for larger sheds you could easily afford to have more than one.

At first, I had doubt to buy this thing because of so many complaints in some reviews regarding this product. But I guess I need to try it first to make sure that their reviews are all right.
