Been thinking of sending away for some Tesla plans to build a home charging system. Just as a side note, you can build your home made nickel-iron batteries that are comparable to buying them.

They have an 80 year life span and you can easily design them up to several thousand amps. There a type of dry cell that you don't have to worry about freezing and should work with solar and Tesla generators. Just a thought.

I have been able to locate recycled deep cell batteries for $45 each, this includes the $12 core charge. They come with a 90 day warranty. So I can get 20 batteries for under $1,000 which is a tremendous amount of stored energy. I figure for less then $3,000 I can have a wind and solar system that is awesome!! BUT not for less then $200!!
